Hellllllooooooooooooooooooo
I forgot to wish you happy Easter. So HAPPY EASTER. I hope you had a great Easter. Mine was great. Yesterday at church we had the most exciting thing happen. On Saturday we had a less active twila who we have been visiting with she has not been to church in 8 years. Well she texted us and asked us what time church starts and of coarse me and sister minyard got so excited over the text. Well
on Sunday we walk into the chapel and guess what twila came to church and her husband came too!! We have never met him all we knew as that he is kinda against the church. Everyone was so excited to see her that you could tell it was hard for all of to contain our excitement. That just made our day! Oh ya and for dinner that night me and sister minyard made an Easter dinner feast missionary style. It was so good.
So everyday we do role play(not really my favorite thing to do) but when we do role plays as a companion teaching we really don't have anything to talk to so we decided to make something for us to role play with. So last night I made Wanda. Wanda joined us for dinner to.
This week was great. We visited with a lot of less actives and members and since it Easter was
Sunday we shared a messaged about Jesus Christ. We shared a Mormon message called His Sacred Name—An Easter Declaration and we shared 3 different scriptures the first was in Matthew 26:39 and that is about Christ in the Garden of Gethsemane the second scripture we shared was Luke
23:46 and that is about Christs crucifixion then last we shared John 20:13-17 and this is where Christ comes back and he is resurrected. I am so grateful for my testimony and every time we watched the Mormon message I just want to cry. I love my Savior so much that he would come here to teach us but to atone for our sins so that we can return to be with Heavenly father and I know that without Him I wouldn't be able to. I am so grateful to be a missionary and bring the message of the gospel to people.
This week we finally got in contact with someone we have been trying to get in contact with since we got here. Her name is Shari she is so amazing. She has been so much in her life. She has so many amazing questions. She works so many hours (she told us she has worked 100 and 30 hrs in the last 2 weeks YIKES that is CRAZY) and she told us it may be difficult to find time to meet with me because I work so much but Please don't forget about me I know you missionaries can be annoying but please check up on me and don't forget me. I am so excited to continue to teach her and I know that the gospel can really help her.
Oh ya and guess what transfers are on Wednesday. And surprise surprise I am not being transfers (I'm still being trained, training is for 12 weeks) and Sister Minyard is still going to be my companion and we are staying in fredericktown. YAAAAAA. All I can say this transfer has gone by sooooooooooooo fast! Its hard to believe I have been out here for 6 weeks and that on the 26th I will have been gone for a month. Before you know it I will be coming home :(.
Things around here have been looking and feeling a lot more like spring. I saw a beaver for the first time in person ever! It was so cool. We here driving to district meeting and and right by a stream there it was I got so excited I made sister minyard turn around so she could see it it made us just a little late for district meeting but oh well it was worth it, I saw a beaver. Shes never seen a beaver before either. I am not really looking forward to summer though. I don't want to deal with the humidity we have already had a few days of kinda bad humidity.
I love being a missionary!! Everyday I get to learn and grow so much.
I love all of you all and hope you have a great week!!
Sister Lynch
