April 14th

Hey everyone!

Well this week has been a busy one as everyother week has been. Well on tuesday we had president interviews. President Morgan is an amazing man. I love him. Then after our interview my district went out to lunch and it was tuesday so that means TACO TUESDSAY. Cheap tacos mmmmmmm so good. Then on wed we had exchanges with the sister trainer leaders. I went with sister webster to Highland Illinois. I got to get out of the back woods of missouri for a little while and see be in the city. I finally saw the arch. While there we meet with a former investigator named anna she was previously going to get baptized and the she stopped meeting with the missionaries because she said she couldn't get past prophets but she know the book of mormon was true but that during our lesson we actually discovered that that was not the issue she actually was afraid of what her family and friends and everyone else would say and do if they found out she got baptized. I was able to tell her how I felt the same way when I was investigating the church and my expericences and I feel like I was able to help her a lot. On thursday we exchanged back and got some bad news from the sister minyard. So we had asked someone if they would be baptized and she said yes well while I was gone that person called and said she didn't want to get baptized. She said she had been praying and praying about the book of mormon etc and she felt like she recieved an anwser and the answer was that she needs to go back to her penticastal church. She told sister minyard she's sorry and she hopes she didn't hurt our feelings and that she loved visiting with us but she doesn't want us to stop by her house anymore. Well we are going to go see her this week and see what is up. The rest of the week was pretty good. We tracted a lot more. Tracting is getting easier for me. I use to always hate tracting because I was always scarred and thought I never said the right thing but it is not as bad the other day.

The weather has been amazing this last week. It was sunny and warm and spring is coming finally. The flowers and trees are in bloom! But last night we had a crazy rain storm. So it was dumping rain and it was raining so hard that it was way to dangerous to drive in so we got stranded a little ways from our apartments so we had to stay at a members place. Some of the streets near our apartment are flooded. Oh and it is suppose to snow tonight. I want spring no more snow.

Me and sister minyard came up with the idea to do a preach my gospel scavengure hunt for the members to get people to have preach my gospel in there homes and to get them to use preach my gospel but we are still trying to figure how to do it so if you all have any ideas let me know. 

We got the idea to do this from Elder Ballards talk from conference.

I can't believe it but this transfer is almost over. I can't believe I have been out here for almost 6 weeks already. Time flies! But I guess time flies when you are haveing fun. I love being a missionary yes it is exhausting but so worth it. I hope all of you have a great week and I can't wait to hear from you.
